Immediately afterwards, the Merial professional, Dr. Francisco Perozo, began his talk, “New alternatives for the control of Newcastle”, where he presented the results of field work carried out in different countries, which support the efficiency of effervescent tablets. by Avinew NeO. His talk continued with the participation of three veterinary doctors invited from the public, who gladly agreed to the stage to carry out a test that evidenced the safety, speed and effectiveness of diluting these tablets in water, the solution being ready in less time than that used up to now. now.
The second technical presentation was given by Dr. Eliana Eliana Icochea, a renowned Peruvian professional in the field of poultry health, who presented the “Protection results of the VG/GA strain, against a challenge of the Newcastle virus in the Laboratory of the MV Fac of the UNMSM”. This study provided information from the Newcastle challenge test carried out at the FMV-UNMSM, where effective and protective results against this virus were demonstrated using the Avinew Neo vaccine in different models of vaccination programs, where the results obtained in terms of The protection showed equal protection compared to those obtained with the conventional lyophilized Avinew vaccine.
Finally, a panel made up of Drs. Eliana Icochea, Francisco Perozo and Elmer Dávila, who resolved each of the technical questions raised by the participants.
